Much of our recent work has been encapsulated in a Brand Studio that we formed. I acted as Creative Director and Creative Lead, alongside our Chief Product Officer and Head of Marketing. I spearheaded the project with an in-depth exploration that took stock of our current brand with key stakeholders. We developed a Google Slides deck with words that encapsulated both where our brand has been and where we wanted to go.
This deck served as the North Star for launching the team (myself, a product designer/illustrator, and our brand designer) into the process of developing the primitives, type, colors, feel, and expression of the new brand.
The output can be seen in the Circle (2017–Present) stack in this portfolio. I can go into more detail but this was a challenging project that involved the alignment of teams that hadn't historically worked well together.
The result was not just beautiful visuals, but a unified team that enjoyed doing fresh work together.
